As a proud sponsor for the HIRE for TALENT national launch press conference, Open Door Group will partner with BC Career Development Association to host a press conference and breakfast networking event to BC's top employers, community service providers, and media agencies that have been supporting the career development field for years. Through the complimentary employers' toolkit, we are hoping to raise awareness and engage the employers in hiring multiple barriers candidates (with a special focus on people with disability), promote the skills of people who have disabilities, as well as the benefits that this part of the population brings to the work force. The toolkit will help employers become familiar with disabilities and gain the needed confidence to recruit, hire and retain people with disabilities and how it will help businesses perform. Our ultimate goal is to help building an inclusive Canadian workforce!
