About the session

The Presidents Group, formed in 2013, is a network of BC Business Leaders who are working to create more employment opportunities for people with disabilities in BC. BC Partners in Workforce Innovation just wrapped a three year pilot in BC working with employers to help them be more inclusive in hiring people with disabilities. Mahin from the Presidents Group, and Jamie from BC WiN are keen to share some lessons learned from the employer’s perspective with others who support individuals in their employment search. They will be sharing what they hear from employers about what works best from an employer’s perspective when working with service organizations in attraction, recruitment and retention of employees.
